FNHA Counselling

We are honoured to support First Nations individuals and families through counselling services funded by the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA). Our goal is to provide a safe, welcoming, and culturally respectful space where you can explore life's challenges, strengthen your well-being, and work toward healing at your own pace.

We recognize that wellness is deeply connected to culture, community, family, and lived experience. Our counsellors provide compassionate, client-centred care that honours your unique story, values, and goals. Whether you are seeking support for mental health concerns, healing from trauma, navigating grief, managing stress, or working through life transitions, we are here to walk alongside you with respect and care.

Our approach is collaborative and evidence-based while recognizing the importance of cultural identity, traditional knowledge, and holistic wellness. We strive to create an environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout your healing journey.

FNHA counselling may provide support for:

  • Anxiety, stress, and depression

  • Trauma and intergenerational trauma

  • Grief and loss

  • Life transitions and personal growth

  • Relationship and family challenges

  • Emotional regulation and coping skills

  • Self-esteem and identity

  • Burnout and workplace stress

  • Building resilience and overall wellness

If you are eligible for FNHA-funded counselling, we can guide you through the referral and approval process to help make accessing services as smooth as possible. We are committed to providing compassionate care that supports your mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being.

Healing is a personal journey, and you do not have to walk it alone. We are here to support you with respect, understanding, and care every step of the way.

We've received your submission!

I recognize with gratitude that the communities I serve — including Port Moody, Coquitlam, Surrey, Vancouver, and the greater Lower Mainland — exist on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Coast Salish peoples, which include the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Stó:lō, and səl̓ílwətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. As a counsellor, I acknowledge the strength, wisdom, and resilience that continue to flow through these lands and the people who have cared for them since time immemorial. In my work, I strive to honour these histories by creating a space rooted in respect, healing, and genuine connection.
